Have you ever been at a client lunch and wished you could finish the expense report on the way back to the office? Now you can. We have expanded the expense function in Flex's new mobile app so you can specify purpose, participants, and tip for entertainment – right after photographing the receipt.
A complete expense report in just a few minutes
If you already use HRM's new mobile app, you know how easy it is to photograph a receipt and create an expense directly on your phone. But for entertainment, one piece of the puzzle has been missing until now: the ability to fill in all mandatory details on the spot.
You now get three new fields when you select an expense code of the type "Entertainment":
- Purpose – describe the reason for the entertainment.
- Participants – search and add participants, or remove a participant on the current expense, with a single click.
- Tip – enter the tip amount. The amount is added on top of the total amount on the receipt. An update with more tip settings is on the way.
The fields appear automatically when you review your expense, so you never have to look for them.
Easy participant management
The participant list is built to be quick to work with. You can search among existing contacts and add new participants directly in the view. Everything happens in the same flow, without leaving the expense.
Submit before you even get home
The idea is simple: you should be able to photograph the receipt, fill in all the details, and submit a complete and correct expense report – all while the entertainment is still fresh in your mind. No more searching for receipts in your wallet or half-finished reports waiting on your desk.
This saves time both for you as the person submitting the expense and for the person who will review and approve the report, since all mandatory details are already in place from the start.
