Soon you won't need to save receipts in your wallet or fill out expense forms at your desk. We are currently working on several new features in our AI agent Flexie that will make it possible to register, complete and follow up on your expenses directly from your phone — as they happen.
Here is an overview of what's on the way.
Capture the Receipt and Let Flexie Do the Work
Soon you will be able to open the mobile app, take a photo of the receipt and send it to Flexie. You will also be able to select an image from your gallery or attach a PDF.
Flexie automatically reads the receipt and extracts the amount, date and supplier for you. You review the details, adjust if anything needs to be changed, and submit. The entire flow in three steps: attach, confirm and submit. Support is available for the most common image formats as well as PDF.
Automatic Suggestion for the Right Category
You won't need to think about which expense category fits. When you register an expense — via Flexie or via the "Scan Receipt" short cut — the system suggests a category based on the supplier's name. A receipt from a hotel chain is automatically linked to "Accommodation", for example, and a restaurant receipt to "Entertainment". You can always change the suggestion before you submit.
Complete Entertainment Details Already at the Restaurant
Expenses for entertainment require additional details such as purpose, participants and tips. Today, many people need to complete these details after the fact — often long after the dinner, when the memory has started to fade.
Soon you will be able to fill in all mandatory information for entertainment directly in the mobile app. This works both via Flexie and via the "Scan Receipt" short cut on the start page. Regardless of which route you choose, you get fields for purpose, participants and tips in the same flow. You will be able to search for and add participants, or remove existing ones, with a single click.
The result: a complete and accurate expense report before you have even left the restaurant.
Full Overview of Your Expenses
You will also be able to ask Flexie about your registered expenses and get an overview directly in the conversation. For example:
- Which expenses you have registered and what status they have.
- How much you have pending for reimbursement.
- Details about a specific expense, for example participants for entertainment.
- Which details need to be corrected in order for the expense to be submitted for review.
You get full visibility without having to leave the conversation with Flexie.
