As the app that is part of Flex HRM is now being modernized and rebuilt from the ground up, we're doing it with a clear goal: to make the workday admin feel just as smooth and intuitive as the services we use privately. A tool where you get the job done directly in your mobile, right when it happens. And that doesn't require you to search through menus, but shows you the way directly - or even performs what you want to get done.
In short: less hassle, more tap, tap, ta-da for all those small but important tasks you need to keep track of during your working day.
Here’s What You Can Do in the App Today
The app is being developed in stages based on the functions you as an employee use most in everyday life - the most important first, quite simply. Right now, the app is in an early phase and is being used by a limited number of customers, but we will soon open it up to everyone.
Here's what you can do today:
Punch in and out
We've made it just as easy to check in and out for the day, whether you're in the office, at home or somewhere in between. For those who use geographical restrictions - that is, where punching in and out is only possible at a certain location - it will of course also work in the app.
Checking out with absence
Enter sickness, flex or other absences directly when you clock out. Nothing to register afterwards and nothing that risks being forgotten!
Keep track of your profile
Contact details, login and work-related information - all in one place.
Send absence requests
Apply for leave directly in the app, in a common flow that provides full control for both employee and manager. You can also let the built-in AI agent do a complete absence request for you (under your close supervision, of course) - more on this below.
The AI Agent Flexie Gets the Job Done
Most of us have come across an AI assistant by now - in customer service, on websites and in various chat tools. It can answer questions and guide you in the right direction, but ultimately the job falls to you. An AI agent goes one step further: it understands what you want to achieve and helps you with the actual implementation. This is exactly how smart our new app will be when the Flexie agent moves in.
Say, for example, that you want to apply for a vacation or a leave of absence. Then just type: "Apply for vacation on Thursday and Friday next week." or "I want to register absence for childcare today."
When you give Flexie a command, she automatically identifies the correct date and reason for absence, prepares your request and registers it in the system for further review by your manager.
In other words, instead of searching through menus and forms, you just describe what you want to do in your own words, and Flexie does the rest. At the same time, you always have the last word. Every action the agent suggests needs your approval before it's implemented, so you always have full control at every step.
