Receipt handling made easier in our new app

Have you also been collecting receipts in your wallet after a lunch or a purchase? Now you can register your expenses directly in our new app, without having to sit down at a computer. Photograph the receipt, let the app read it for you and save – done.

How it works

You'll find the feature on the start page of our new app under Short cuts, where it's called Scan Receipt – Photograph and save receipts. Tap the shortcut and the camera opens straight away.

Point the camera at your receipt. When the image is sharp, the app automatically takes a photo. The receipt is then analysed using AI, which reads and fills in the details for you.

Once the interpretation is complete, you're presented with a form containing the details extracted from the receipt:

  • Purchase date – the date shown on the receipt.
  • Total amount – the total amount including VAT.
  • Of which VAT – the VAT amount interpreted from the receipt.

You can easily edit the amounts if anything needs adjusting. The only thing you need to do yourself is select the correct expense code under Expense type. You can also add a message via Add message if you want to clarify something. Then tap Create expense and you'll see a confirmation: Expense saved!

Complete in Flex HRM

The feature in our new app is designed to make it quick and easy to capture receipts in the moment. For now, some details still need to be completed in the web version of Flex HRM. This applies to:

  • Participants, tips and purpose for entertainment.
  • Currency, if the expense is in a currency other than Swedish kronor.
  • Account coding.
  • Submitting the expense.

Log in to Flex HRM via the web to fill in the additional details and submit your expense.

Less hassle, more control

With the new feature you save time by registering expenses on the spot – right when the purchase happens. You don't need to hold on to paper receipts or wait until you're at your computer. The AI interpretation means you don't have to enter amounts and dates manually, which reduces the risk of incorrect information.
