Calculating the correct holiday pay should be smooth and simple. We are now releasing a new feature that automates the management of guaranteed amounts on holiday agreements. This update saves valuable time for payroll specialists and reduces the risk of manual error.
Set the Guaranteed Amount Directly on the Annual leave agreement
Previously, payroll specialists had to enter the guaranteed amount manually in custom numerical fields for each employee. This process could quickly become time-consuming, especially for service agencies managing multiple companies and employees.
Now, you can set the guaranteed amount directly within the annual leave agreement settings. You specify the amount once per agreement, and it is automatically applied to all covered employees.
Under the settings, you will find a new field called Guaranteed amount. Here, you enter the minimum guaranteed amount applicable to the agreement.
Flexible Additions Based on Age and Years of Service
Under the Increment tab, you can configure two types of additions to the guaranteed amount:
- Supplement upon reached age
- Supplement when achieved time int he company
In the table, you can enter step intervals—for example, specifying that an employee receives an additional 200 SEK in guaranteed amount after one year of employment. The third column shows the total guaranteed amount applied when the employee reaches that threshold. If you add multiple rows, the highest reached age or length of service for the employee will automatically be applied. You can also combine additions for both age and service years.
New Formula Function for Automatic Calculation
To apply guaranteed amounts in the holiday calculation, we have introduced a new formula function called Garantibelopp. The function automatically calculates an employee's guaranteed amount based on reached addition thresholds. You can use this formula to verify calculated daily holiday pay and adjust it if necessary.
This feature is configured by an administrator or payroll specialist directly on the holiday agreement.
