Have you photographed a receipt in our new app and had to wait until you logged in on the web or the old mobile app to add the correct account coding? Soon that extra step will be gone. You'll be able to enter account coding directly in the new app, right when you photograph the receipt – and you'll only see the fields that are relevant to you and your expense.
Account coding directly in the new app
Today, it isn't possible to enter account codes, such as department, project, or customer, when you photograph a receipt in the new app. Until now, you've had to fill in those fields afterwards, either on the web or in the old mobile app. With the new feature, you'll be able to link the correct account coding to the expense right on the spot, without switching apps or waiting until later.
You'll only see what's relevant to you
You'll only see the account coding fields that apply to you and your expense. Fields you need to fill in are clearly marked, while fields that don't require anything from you are hidden by default – but you can always choose to show them if you want to check or change a value. If you need to select a value yourself, it's quick to search for the right option.
Shared costs are clearly indicated
If the cost of an expense is split across several values from your home account code, for example two projects, you'll see a clear indication that it's shared.
What this means for you
You won't have to switch between apps to add the correct account coding to your expenses – it will all be possible directly in the new app, right when you photograph the receipt. At the same time, you'll only see what's relevant to you, while the rest stays out of the way until you want to see it. The result is fewer clicks, fewer app switches, and less to keep track of, so you can quickly verify that everything is correct and move on.
