We want you to get a full overview of all your Travel & Expense transactions directly in the app – simply, quickly and without detours. Now we're taking a big step towards that goal: your trips and car trips are now shown in the same overview as your expenses, so you never have to look in several places to see how things stand with your travel costs.
One and the same list for all your transactions
In the overview in our new app, you have so far been able to see your expenses, sorted by status: Rejected, To report, In progress and History. Now your trips and car trips also appear in exactly the same list, whether they are waiting to be reported, in progress, have been rejected, or have already been paid out.
Under To report, for example, you'll see a car trip and a domestic trip side by side with an expense – each row with its own icon: a car for the car trip, a suitcase for the trip, and a receipt for the expense.
The right information directly in the list
You don't need to open each transaction to understand what it's about.
- A car trip is shown with the date, number of kilometers driven, and amount.
- A trip is shown with start and end date and amount.
- An expense is shown just as before, with the option to open it for more information.
So you can see everything you're waiting to have processed – in one single overview, without switching between different views.
What's coming next?
In this first step, you can see your trips and car trips in the overview, but you can't yet open, edit, or delete them directly from there – that's why they're missing the arrow that expenses have. You also can't create trips for subsistence allowances yet. This is a step towards eventually being able to manage your entire travel expense claim in the same smooth way you already do with expenses.
A step towards the app becoming your primary tool for travel management
The goal is for you to get a full overview of all your Travel & Expense transactions directly in the app – simply, quickly and without detours. With trips and car trips now in place in the overview, you're one step closer to being able to handle your entire travel management from your mobile, without having to log in anywhere else.
The feature is already available in our new app today. Open your overview and see for yourself!
