Pay Equity Compass

You can now export a draft of the payroll analysis documentation as a Word file

While you’re working on the pay analysis in Pay Equity Compass, you can preview or download a draft of the documentation to see what it will look like. The final documentation is then automatically saved as a PDF when you complete the pay analysis and is ready to be shared or archived.

But sometimes you still want to go back and make adjustments—perhaps add a rationale or expand on a comment to tailor the content to a specific recipient. Until now, the PDF format has made it difficult to continue editing. Now there’s a solution.

Word is now available as a new download option

In the document templates for the pay analysis, you’ll find a download icon—as before—that lets you download the draft as a PDF. We’ve now added a new option to the same menu: Download Draft as Word. Simply choose the option that works best for you at the moment.

The preview of the documentation is still displayed as a PDF, just as before. You can only choose between Word and PDF when downloading.

Applies to all three documentation templates

This update applies to all three standard documentation templates:

  • Total Documentation
  • Collaboration Documentation
  • Management Documentation

⭐ This has been one of the most requested improvements in the salary analysis, and we’re excited to deliver it to you.
