The new mobile app now gives Expenses its own permanent spot in the bottom menu. You can reach your expenses with a single tap from anywhere in the app, without scrolling down to the shortcut on the Home screen.
Three icons in the bottom menu
The bottom menu will show three icons: Home, Expenses and Calendar. Tapping Expenses takes you straight to the Expense overview, the same view you reach today through the shortcut on the Home screen. The Expenses icon is highlighted while you are in the Expense overview, the same way Home and Calendar are, so you can always see where you are in the app.
The Expenses icon is only shown to users who have access to the Travel & Expense module.
Create a new expense from the Expense overview
The Expense overview will have a plus button. You use it to create a new expense by scanning a receipt. Later on, the same plus button will also let you register a trip and register a car trip, so everything to do with travel and expenses is in one place.
Changes to the shortcuts on the Home screen
Once Expenses has a fixed spot in the bottom menu, the View your expenses shortcut is removed from the Home screen. The bottom menu then becomes the only way to reach the Expense overview. The Scan receipt shortcut stays on the Home screen as it is today.
What this means for you
You find your expenses faster and with fewer taps. Whether you want to follow up on an expense you've submitted or scan a new receipt, Expenses is always close at hand throughout the app.
